I am worst at starting up a conversation, forget about small talk
How do i get a conv.....tion going with a girl i just met?

Here we go again.....sorry man this one of those topics that gets started every few days....you really need to sift through the topics and you find your answers...

In short....be humourous and respectful....small talk is how every meaningful conversation starts..

True, but also if she suggests a coffee and chat in person after a while and you come with "sorry but I am busy now" excuse first and then do nothing after the second suggestion (bigger than a Hollywood sign), you shouldn't be surprised if she stops replying to your messages.

That type of behavior may suggest one of the two things:
1) You were not interested to meet in person to begin with, but you were too polite to ignore her or tell her that
or
2) You are playing some kind of mind games (hard to get comes to mind)

If you are too busy to meet someone and never have time, what are you doing on online dating site where you are supposed to eventually meet in person?

So it is not just the start, but also the finish that counts!

I agree 100%,just would like to give an example,the weather,I've started sooo many conversation with that one,how was your day,tv,sports ECT(refering to the "small talk"),conversations aren't hard at all,it suppose to just come natural,you know?!

I did a small talk at first and it grow bigger and bigger..lol..just remember to water it..lol
