Jesse Jackson tried to make a race issue of something? . Say it isn't so! it ISNT so,,,, seems reporters wanted to introduce that into the discussion ASKED if he thought there was an issue of racism at play. "I DON'T WANT TO say that, only BECAUSE THAT COULD BECOME THE HEADLINE" he said. "Whether you are white in Atlanta or whether you are white in Nebraska or black in Dallas — we know there's different treatment among blacks in this country Jesse Jackson's entire livelihood is derived from making race issues of everything. Hey, come on, the guy's got to make a livin someway. |

Funny that Jackson want's to complain about the level of treatment AFTER the fact, but didn't use his influence while the guy was alive to seek whatever actions he feels were sub-standard in the guys treatment Saving his favors for something more profitable I guess not really, he was CALLED whenever he was CALLED,,,and before this patient DIED the family probably wasn't aware that anything was different,,,,, I can give the benefit that his non American status had a lot to do with it,,,and a lot to do with why his family feels his treatment was different,, because it was |

Jesse Jackson questions level of care for Ebola patient DALLAS — National civil rights leader Jesse Jackson visited Dallas Tuesday to see first-hand how Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan is being cared for at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. Rev. Jackson said he came at the request of Duncan's family, who told him they were not getting enough information from the doctors, and that Duncan was not getting the best care America had to offer. In the morning, Jackson compared Duncan's care to what American-born Ebola patients have received at other U.S. hospitals. "It seems the way we treated the Americans in Georgia and Nebraska is different than the way we treated a victim here in Dallas," Jackson said.At a news conference following the vigil, Jackson was asked if he thought there was an issue of racism at play. "I don't want to say that, only because that could become the headline," he said. "Whether you are white in Atlanta or whether you are white in Nebraska or black in Dallas — we know there's different treatment among blacks in this country." But his tone had changed since the morning. Before he left the city, Jackson spoke highly of Duncan's care. "I think they've done a marvelous recovery, and we want to embrace the hospital staff and work with them on his recovery," he said. However, Jackson added that he remains concerned that Duncan was sent home from the hospital the first time he sought help there. Open mouth, insert foot. I am concerned also, but it had nothing to do with race. Uncle Jesse is on to the next issue trying to trump the Dishonorable Al. |

The simplest part of the equation here too. true |

his living is made by aiding minorities,, just like some women make a living helping women, or some people make a living helping the poor all these groups are fortunate to have those willing to help them,,,,,or stand beside them through obstacles,,, It's called "advocacy" and it's just *like* how Charlton Heston used his fame, fortune, notoriety, and Washington connections to ensure every U.S. citizen who wants to own 423 guns for 'self protection' has the right to do so. *Odd* that no one posting, today, had a problem with that, then. Guess it just depends on which side of the fence one's willing to topple off to, while hoping to land safely on their cushion of hypocrisy. |
