The years have passed since he has walked on the water
Showing some of the power that was given by his father
The look in their eyes when the disciples were in the boat
Made them understand that Christ was not joke
We read how their deception kept them from death
While they would blend in with the crowd when they spat on his chest
Christ was shown by his father how they would denie him
But because of his love he didn’t hold it against them
Maybe if we were to practice this today
Our world would be in a much peaceful way
There wouldn’t be reports about a drive by shooting
Or even about any store looting
There would be no talk of war
As we learn that are friends aren’t that far
But the time has shown what has happen in our land
When humans try and take things in their own hands
But the promise has been made that there will be the time
As we sit by God’s seat ad listen to the angels chimes
