A half hearted smile greets me as I open the door. The light in your eyes proves non-existant. The cloud of inevitability looms; as unspoken knowledge of days numbered screams louder than a boeing 737 could in the acquardness of our silence. Through feigned smiles and courteous weary pleasantries I mask my knowledge of the scent of recent lust and passion not our own. Your downcast eyes speak volumes of literature confirming my most painful of fears. Were that I were ignorant of such tell taledness I would be drinking your lips and not the bag of pills in the medicine cabinet.
