Maybe you can share what your dream computer would.

why two cases

and make sure you pick the one your ---mother board--- fits in

and if using vista

may want to be able to expand more than 2 gb of ram memory

I hate saying this computers are not worth putting much into because they never last to long, only about five years if your really lucky.

Get a much ram / memory as you can fit into that sucka is all I can say.

Don't forget your ant I virus program and spyware program and ad ware program.

a computer is not outdated

as long as it does what you need it to do

you may just want the new fancy one cause you want it

but that is you not your computer

Drop the one HD and get five 250 MB SATA seagate HDs and a RAID controller that can handle RAID-5.

Drop the Radeon and get a Nvidia with two Monitor heads.

Drop the Intel processor and get an AMD Athlon 64 X2

Add one more GIG of RAM, since instablities don't start after 3 GIGs.

Get an additional monitor.

drop the vista go with windows xp pro,vista going to be another windows me junk junk junk
