I know it's crazy behavior, like is everyone that desperate that lose grip with reality? I had a couple women do that crap to me, Talk about getting a house together and blah blah blah. I would say "Don't you think we should at least date first? Crazy

vocalist, your point is well made. I met my husband over the internet, and knew I loved him before I touched him. But we talked for years. Meeting in person the first time was magic. It sealed the deal. There were now doubts and no turning back (nor desire to).
But for most, it isn't like that. So many people on these sites are lonely and when they meet somebody and feel a spark, they give themselves up to it. But can you really know that you love somebody without the feeling of their skin? Can a picture show you the love that shines in their eyes? How CAN you really know, without meeting, at least once? Not even basing anything on appearance or physical attraction... |

I don't know, Online dating is so complex especially when the two live so far away. It feels good to talk to someone you have so much in common with, when you never met them before and some people are like this must be love right? So I can understand how it can be possible to think you are in love, but meeting in person is the test is it love or just a mistake that two lonely hearts made?

WELL JUST FROM MY EXPERIANCE, I MET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE ON THE SITE. WE TALKED FOR MONTHS ON HERE AND ON THE PHONE, AND ODDLY ENOUGH, FELL IN LOVE WITH HER OVER THE PHONE. WE MEET LAST MONTH, AND NOW THIS MONTH, WE ARE TOGETHER. NSO IT CAN HAPPEN. JST BECAUSE IT HAS NOT HAPPENED TO YOU, DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT CAN'T. HANG IN THERE, AND WHEN THE RIGHT ONE COMES ALONG, YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.
((( MY ANGEL ))) I LOVE YOU MORE AND MORE EACH DAY, AND I THANK GOD EVERYDAY, FOR THIS SITE, AND FOR BRINGING US TOGETHER |

Actually it has happened for me. I just never proclaimed it online till after we met. I've just seen to many broken hearts because of this. So be careful, try to restrain till you can actually look in the eyes of your partner.

I think it's ok to say
"I love ya" As long as you let the person know What kind of love it is And why you're saying it |

I'm sorry, I need to "feel" it. To be able to tell someone that I LOVE them...just to be able to hold his hand would mean so much to me. Without that, I don't think he could ever be real enough. Talking on the phone helps, but how could you love someone, I mean really LOVE them without so much as ever being able to HOLD them close.
I understand that Tiger and Fallen has fallen in LOVE here. I think that is a rarity though, and very hard to find.... |

I'm new to all this and find all your opinions very interesting. I don't know what the future holds, but I have learned over the years that no matter what the circumstances, if I love someone I'm going to tell them.
I held so many feelings back for so many years that I refuse to do that ever again. Does it mean I might get hurt? Sure, but if I really love someone I'm willing to take that chance. Life is to short to play it safe in my opinion. |
