I'm wondering what the deal is on here, is it for real or no? I signed up the other night and have not had any activity. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or not I'm brand new to this online dating thing, I'm a traveling standup comedian and just got tired of meeting the same woman over and over again in the comedy clubs so I figured I'd give this a shot but so far I've read about it's all a scam and I'm not saying I'm a male model but I'm not bad looking so I really just do not get why I have heard nothing from any message or anything else I've sent. I would appreciate any help anyone could offer, if you're looking to be a smart *** I'm sure you can find some lonely guy that will get angry and type in all caps at you elsewhere but I'm not him, I ignore guys that think they're funny for a living. I got the fake/scam idea from reading what people wrote in the forums, but I get your point. Maybe I am being impatient I was just expecting something else I guess. I go out and have no trouble meeting all kinds of people and so I guess I'm just not used to feeling like I'm the stinky kid in class, or maybe I'm just not coming across as who I really am on here, I don't know but I appreciate your help. Aussies always have the best stories, I wish I was down in Australia again right now! I could spend the next 5 days telling you stories about my time there but I'm needed back here in the states so I can't be telling a week long story time or taking the trip. My standup comedy mentor is Australian and it was the best I've ever been, hell I could walk up and just smile and talk to girls on the beach and I was the guy girls went crazy over a accent for! It's a wonderful place for many many reasons!

It's slow on here but I've met women through it and I only date women in my local area, while this is an international American based site. There are loads of scammers and time wasters on here but I don't get much bother from them and I try not to take it personally when people don't reply to my messages. It is different from trying to chat up women in real life. The women tend to be very suspicious or paranoid and it could be that they don't reply because they think that you look like a "pervert" that actually wants to have sex with women.

It's up to you how you use this site. Doesn't sound like you're looking for the same sort of thing on here as I am and if you're prepared to travel to meet people and do a lot of that it might work for you but not just talking to local people will mean that a lot of them won't be interested in you, or will only want to chat or scam you.

yeah it can be all that but it's also boring and depressing, imagine going to a dark lonely hotel room every night in different cities. It wears you down like you would never expect. Not to mention boring being in different city not knowing anyone and sitting around a weird room all day waiting to go on stage. It isn't always a picnic. But its usually better than a picnic, the highs are higher than you can believe! Now if I can just get them to pay me the bags of money you speak of... Not to get a girl but just to buy a Pagani or some other absurdly expensive car!

Their are some here who has a complete and interesting profile. Most of them are professionals telling they are coming to retire. I come try test one if he is true and i found out that he is a liar. He urgently ask me to marry him and want to stay with me here in our country.
