So sorry for your loss. It is very hard when someone you had a relationship with takes their own life. He obviously had given up hope which is a sad and frightening place to be.

I'll keep you in my prayers.
The Lord is close to the broken hearted. May The God of all Comfort be with you and yours during this difficult, sorrowful time.

Tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of my first husbands death. it was a traffic stop in georgia and the policeman shot seven rounds in his car killing him. i want to say prayers for my three children cause to this day they still dont understand why this happened. love you Eric, Kristina, and April. so does your dad

WOW, thank you all for reaching out. I put a post up and on second thought deleted thinking it was too private, personal...

But I am in shock even though I felt this was coming. My boyfriend took his life last week. He was Bi PolarII. A vicious disease. The shock and the visuals are overwhelming me. I have walked this path beofore when I lost my husband to cancer when we were in our mid 30's. This is different. He was a brilliant singer/songwriter and we did a lot of songs together. I wrote a song, took it to him, he read over it twice and said hmmm I'm hearing it something like this" and say down at the keys and played something so incredible....it was savant like.

Hope you got through the anniversary of your ex-husband yesterday. It must have been very difficult for you yet somehow as a mother you carry on and try to be strong for your children. I've been there to some degree myself. You and your three children are in my thoughts and prayers. They have beautiful names.

God is close to the broken hearted, so throw all your pain, worry, stress and cares on Him because He cares for you and can take the burden.

God knows (literally) how many times I've cried myself to sleep and when I prayed for the weight to be lifted, He took it.

I just got wind of this. I feel for all of this because I can relate to it. At this time, nothing is more important than patience and strong friendships. These can help ease the pain. Talking does also, no matter what folks say. When you talk about it, it clears your minds and takes the burdens out of your heart. Prayers and peace go out to you both in your hour of need.

So sorry to hear all this. !My brother took his own life a few years ago.I truly feel your pain!
