Oh, that's dope, man. Congrats to the both of you!
I got six stitches in my index finger so I haven't been typing much lately. Haha. Things have been pretty groovy. A lot of museums and movies. |

Thanks!! Means a lot!
Ouch! Hope it heals soon. Been seriously lacking on movies lately. Did watch a decent found footage Bigfoot flick written And directed by Bobcat Goldthwait: Willow Creek. And if you haven't already, I highly recommend a movie from 2012 titled '.found', it's about a boy that finds out his older brother is a serial killer. |

See, I find really polarized opinions about ".found". I've been kinda going through the IMDB list of mid-range rated movies (of multiple genres) and giving them a chance. Mostly hit or miss.
I hated ".found", except for the last... four minutes. The acting just destroyed it for me. It looked amazing too. If you haven't yet I highly recommend "Afflicted". I also suggest refraining from finding out anything about it. Haha. It's a found-footage type movie and it's straight horror. |

I still need to see Afflicted, it has been on my to watch list for awhile. Other found footage I've enjoyed: Crowsnest, The Tunnel Movie, Pretty Dead, Amber Alert. My favorite one since Blair Witch though is VHS. Some other recent horror I like: Maniac, The Dead, The Battery, Oculus, Absentia, House Hunting, The Pact, Lovely Molly, Jug Face, The Seasoning House, Byzantium, Thale, Beneath (the one directed by Larry Fesenden), Grabbers. Also the black comedies Sightseers, and Cheap Thrills. |

The Fairies
by William Allingham Up the airy mountain Down the rushy glen, We dare n't go a-hunting, For fear of little men; Wee folk, good folk, Trooping all together; Green jacket, red cap, And white owl's feather. Down along the rocky shore Some make their home, They live on crispy pancakes Of yellow tide-foam; Some in the reeds Of the black mountain-lake, With frogs for their watch-dogs, All night awake. High on the hill-top The old King sits; He is now so old and gray He's nigh lost his wits. With a bridge of white mist Columbkill he crosses, On his stately journeys From Slieveleague to Rosses; Or going up with music, On cold starry nights, To sup with the Queen, Of the gay Northern Lights. They stole little Bridget For seven years long; When she came down again Her friends were all gone. They took her lightly back Between the night and morrow; They thought she was fast asleep, But she was dead with sorrow. They have kept her ever since Deep within the lake, On a bed of flag leaves, Watching till she wake. By the craggy hill-side, Through the mosses bare, They have planted thorn trees For pleasure here and there. Is any man so daring As dig them up in spite? He shall find the thornies set In his bed at night. Up the airy mountain Down the rushy glen, We dare n't go a-hunting, For fear of little men; Wee folk, good folk, Trooping all together; Green jacket, red cap, And white owl's feather. I became a fan of this poem after watching the 1973 horror flick Don't Look In The Basement. One of the residents of the mental institution says some of the lines from the poem. |
