Metal as in Slayer,stuff like that? or just rock? I like rock,hard rock but don't care much for metal although there are a few bands I've seen live and/or listen too

I have followed them forever, they are by far my favorite band, it should be awesome.

You know it. Sacrifice is blasting at the moment. Prefer thrash or death, but sometimes dabble black. Hit up the stoner grooves and classic hard rock when feeling mellow. Switch to jazz and baroque for changes of pace.

Metal is at it's best when it is almost not metal. And when it has a favorable amount of blues injected into it.

Not much into american metal bands save for Old Metallica, and Megadeath. Going to see Nightwish in Seattle on Samhain though }B-)

Guess it depends on your definition of metal really. I do enjoy the rock/hard rock/metal music though. I'm not much into the music scene like I use to be, I went to 3 concerts this year which is probably more than I have been to in the past 5 years. Jagermeister Music Tour and Family Values tour concerts were out of site and I'm loving the song Hellyeah by Hellyeah

I myself am enjoying some Pantera, Hellyeah, DevilDriver, and Soulfly at the moment.

Mostly because I have to do math and metal seems to be the only thing which calms me down enough to do the aforementioned math.
