Yeah I was eaten alive last night by mosquitos! Stupid insects 
Oh I am dreading these little blood suckers they should be out anytime now Nursing about 20 bites from the last few days of camping, to hot to wear enough to keep them off here, should be on the Kenai in a month....cool enough there to dress heavy and keep them off up there:) |

they are cheap and they get really big...lol.. perhaps they are too bony..? |

Then when they abate we get the white socks.. fun oh joy Alaska in the summer time |

since when do skeeters abate? Up here as summer goe on hopefully normally and the water dries up they abate then we get no seeums, white socks. the b52 bombers just die off.. is all we trade them in for the little tiny blood suckers we can't see |

Is there really a different between all living beings? don't they all deserve to live in peace? how can we love one kind but eat the other? they all want to live! They all have feelings and emotions. Animals don't WANT to live or die. They don't understand the concept. And one of the things that separates us from animals, is the fact that they DON'T have feelings and emotions.. |

Animals don't WANT to live or die. They don't understand the concept.
And one of the things that separates us from animals, is the fact that they DON'T have feelings and emotions.. Why do dogs appear happy to see their masters when they haven't seen them for a while? |

Why are some animals raised for food?
Because, a blood drenched ribeye steak looks daaaaamn good on a dinner plate. That's why.

Totally, I don't understand how people pet dogs cats but eat the other species!
& for those people out there saying that animals eat other animals thats because they dont have a choice but we do dont we?? Lions cant survive without meat but we absolutely can survive being vegetarians or even vegans. I just find it extremely cruel to murder living beings in order to serve human's appetite.. |

The thought of not having meat at the table is repulsive to me, sure portabellas are great, but only as a side for venison...it's what really is for supper :)
