Never had a child bite me before but when we trained our puppy not to bite then put things that taste disgusting on the things they bite - even if its you, they soon learn

The best way I have found, was to make a fist.Tell them to bite your finger, and when they do.Push it in there mouth. They will not like it at all.And have not bitten after that.

Hi. I have 1y 4m twin boys. One of them would bite anyone!! I tried everything anyone suggested but no use! He bites me the most. Any ideas? IDK it's a tough question. I had a biter in a preschool class once. I kept her very busy and made her my assistant. I devoted some time (maybe a week or so) following her around and any time she looked to bite I grabbed her and gave her a "look" and then something else to do. Things got a little better and then she seemed to outgrow it |

Hmm.. fight back! you're bigger than him..lol.. bite him back.. and say see how it feels.. lol, I was hesitant to suggest this, but it worked for us ,,shrugs. When there are no consequences, or only slight consequences, its harder to deter a bad behavior. The shock and discomfort of being bitten back could stick with them long enough to deter that action again. Also the idea of putting some disgusting tastes on things is a good one, but you kind of have to know in advance what or who they will bite. |

I tried the fist thing. Now at least he loosens his jaws whenever he feels i m trying to push my fist in his mouth.
keeping him busy seems to work but i cant keep him busy all the time. Now i'm looking for sth really disgusting to dip myself into . lol |
