Megyn Kelly Totally Owns Dick Cheney Over His Iraq Track Record
Fox News' Megyn Kelly mercilessly confronted former Vice President Dick Cheney on her Wednesday show about his track record in Iraq. After quoting Cheney's recent op-ed on the war, in which he said of President Obama, "Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many," she put this scorcher of a question to him: "Time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong as well in Iraq, sir. You said there was no doubt Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. You said we would be greeted as liberators. You said the insurgency was in its last throes back in 2005, and you said that after our intervention, extremists would have to 'rethink their strategy of jihad.' Now, with almost a trillion dollars spent there, with almost 4,500 American lives lost there, what do you say to those who say you were so wrong about so much at the expense of so many?" "No, I just fundamentally disagree, Reagan, I mean, Megyn," Cheney replied. Fair and Balanced |

Those "weapons" were neutralized, diluted, or otherwise contained clear back during the 1st gulf war, then the plant was sealed. This was known long before Bush/Cheney invaded Iraq. The stockpiles there were useless, known, and monitored, for YEARS.... nearly decades....not something "NEW" found during our invasion. Even the facility was rendered useless long ago by an agreement clear back in the 90's...... most had been provided by Saddams "buddies"..... the USA....during the "Cold War"...... very old shite! |

This is true...Its a bunch of junk munitions. I think thay are trying to scare us that ISIS has obtained WMD and is going to attack us. Was watching the spin on Fox...they had some gray haired colonels and generals saying ISIS is the most brutal force in the last 100 years. Oh, c'mon! Do they think we are stupid? Drumming up fear and demonizing is what typically leads to war. |

Just like modern commentators, although they never say 'never mind' after their bs and rarely acknowledge flawed information,,,,and they aren't funny (except those trying to be like Stewart and Colbert) |
