Three day weekend...
One more day (Monday) and I will no longer have to be on a bus with another driver.

So obviously people are oblivious to a flashing red light and stop arms!

Sitting at the school picking up my two students.
There is not enough room to get off the road so the stop arm is required here.
While the little blind girl was walking up the bus steps
a car pulls out from the curb, comes towards me and proceeds to run my stop arm!!
I slapped the side of the bus as the nose of his car got to my first stop arm.
He stops, rolls his window down and I yelled:
You are supposed to STOP when my red stop lights and arm are flashing
He said:
I know this!
I yelled:
Then why did you NOT STOP?

He never said another word!!
He never moved his vehicle from where it sat, which was beside the bus, until I turned off my lights and closed my door.

I swear these people do not need to drive!!

Oh and it got really quiet around the bus while I was making my point known My hand hurt for about an hour after as well. Guess I slapped the side of the bus a little hard..lol

I have my sketch pad next to me but haven't touched it since I laid it there..

Yes last night was a long night for sure.
You know, just one of those nights *sigh*

Summer School started on July 14th and August 12 regular school will begin.
I am hoping for a route versus being a sub.
It will be very difficult subbing for 140 different routes.

I have done both. However...the districti was subbing for was quite a bit smaller. Main reason i went there...lol. fingers crossed u get a route.

Yea, if I sub I will be saving all the route copies the drivers are supposed to leave for me.
That way I will have a copy in case they forget.
There are a lot retiring this year so I am hoping I get a route as well.
Plus the drive time in my car to get to a bus in the morning will be less sleep time since I am 20 minutes from the edge of town and 30 from the bus lot.
