Preacher mentioned this morning about how people often ask why God lets bad things happen to good people. I never computed it that way. I don't get why people ask the question. Aside from what I know as a daughter of God & that He is in control of everything. It never made me think that because I'm good tornadoes should skip over me. Or earthquakes should only happen at the terrorists house. Nice as that would be. lol. We live on a planet with an atmosphere where life happens. Being a child of God doesn't change that.
Also for those who don't understand the grace of God. Even though we have an awsome God he gives us all free will. That means bad guys have the choice to make bad decisions. We share the planet with them so bad things will happen. It's just the reality of life.

So what is it, that God actually does? When you answer that keep in mind the question WHY does it choose that, but doesn't interfere when bad things are happening? Would the world be exactly the same, if God did not exist? If not, then why does God choose to show the difference in the fashion it has?

Well the world wouldn't exist if God didn't exist first off lol, so that question is kind of moot. God chooses not to interfere because he gave us free will. What would be the point if God created us, then made every movement/choice or decision for us? Bad things happen because we were kicked out of the paradise for our disobedience. If nothing "bad" happened it would be just like paradise. So with that God gives us a choice to obey him or not to possibly receive the gift of eternal life in his paradise in his glorious presence. God blesses them that seek him. But then Satan is right behind them to try to put a barrier between a person and God. Satan doesn't waste his time with the "lost", because he already has them in the palm of his hands. He focuses on the "saved" or the obedient to God's will. He focuses on them because he doesn't have their obedience. Satan thinks himself to be greater then God, thus why he tries so hard to get people to follow after him especially again the ones that are following after God. Satan know's his final destination, he's know this and is why he works so hard at taking anyone he can with him. He's jealous of Mankind. He's jealous of mankind because of the love of God.

God doesn't offer an easy care free life. Just offers to be by your side through the troubles of life if he is welcome to be there.

Jesus said that only God is good (Mark 10:18).

18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Context again please. Jesus was referring to specifically either him or God. And nobody is better then God, so therefore in comparison to God nobody would be good but God, for we all fall short of God's glory.

Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating
room. She said: How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can
I see him?

The surgeon said, I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't
make it."

Sally said, Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any
more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"

The surgeon asked, �Would you like some time alone with your son? One of
the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the
university."

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good-bye to her son.
She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.

“Would you like a lock of his hair? the nurse asked.

Sally nodded yes.

The nurse cut a lock of the boys hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it
to Sally.

The mother said, It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the university
for study. He said it might help somebody else. I said no at first, but
Jimmy said, Mom, I wont be using it after I die. Maybe it
will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.

She went on, My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.

Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after
spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's
belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult.
It was even harder to enter the empty house.

She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his
hair to her sons room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things, back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to
sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed
was a folded letter.

The letter said:

Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you,
or stop loving you, just cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I will
always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each
other again.

Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you wont be so lonely,
that's okay with me. He can have my room, and old stuff to play with.

But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like t the
same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like,
ya know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some,
but it will take a long time to see everything.

The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus
doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet,when I saw Him, I knew it was
Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD!

And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on Gods knee and talk to Him, like I was
somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a
letter, to tell you good-bye and everything.
But I already knew that wasn't allowed.

Well, ya know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen
to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is
going to drop this letter off to you.

God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him

* Where was He when I needed him?

God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you.
To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper.

Isn't that cool?

I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in
the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper.
I'm, sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all
gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't
stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent the Angel of Mercy
to come get me. The Angel said I was Special Delivery!

even though I sometimes succumb to feelings of why myself, I remind myself that I have been shown grace much more often than I have faced struggles, and but for grace, even my struggles could be much worse


I believe GOd is so amazing that we all fall terribly short of his image,,,,so many things in the world that we consider little or of no harm that are against his design but our flesh rules our actions instead,,,,

His Grace is bigger than my struggles ever will be,,,

There is evil in the world because we're no longer in the paradise. Satan is allowed to run around doing as he pleases. That is why come judgement Satan is destroyed, to rid the world of evil and return to a paradise.

See this is where you mistaken especially in my beliefs I guess. I don't follow Christian beliefs, I don't follow Jewish beliefs, I don't follow Islamic beliefs. I research it and obey what the scriptures themselves says, what God says about whatever may be in reference.

Satan is a trickster all in all, he tricks people into following after him and his will rather then God and his will. And with that "trickery" it causes "evil". Evil is whatever is against God's will, so thus Satan's trickery on whatever may be the subject, causes "sin" or "disobedience" in a more common way of putting it.

The world is self contained. It works on a system, on it's own. It's not like God is up there and was bored one day and was like well lets have a tornado touch down here and kill all these women, men and children. No, the weather is in a cause and effect form. I'm not a weatherman *can't think of their technical term* so I don't know the exact terms, but it includes anything from temperature, to pressure, to moisture in the air, and so forth.



No, it's called free will and people's choice to do such actions. How or even why could you or would you potentially blame God for something a person does? Does God control you in your actions through the day? Or even has he done that just once in your life? If not, why would you even contemplate he would do such a thing with someone else.



If God would have stopped 911, he would have been interfering with people's free will. And how could it be a righteous judgement if he stopped this evil action and not that? And why would he stop every evil action done? If he would, he would then have to take somebody's free will away to control that person in question, to stop him/her from doing that action in question. Or take another person's free will away to control them to stop them.



No, just means the volcano erupted, due to whatever it is in the Earth that causes volcano's to erupt. The world is set up to run itself with different cause and effects. Again, it's not like God's up there, well lets see what to do on this Saturday afternoon. OH I KNOW!!! Let's burn this town down with erupting this volcano.



No, cause and effect again, natural order. Our fleshly body's were born to die and because of different circumstances we die for whatever reason, age, sickness, accident, ect. Cause and effect.

sorry but for me this isnt true... if god existed at all we would have known it and yet nobady can tell me wish stret he is at meaning he dont exist.
