nevermind god, do you still remember my message? lol ummmmmm no i was joking lol Your "joke" is perceived as an insult, so thanks for clarifying & due to your age I would have probably deleted anything you sent anyway unless it had something to do with something on here. As far as being creeped out, the ton of mail from 19 & 20 y/o CHILDREN creeps me out. |

I was on this other site and there was a looking for marriage profile where she described herself as "stunning" without actually having a photo and it said that she only wanted serious offers. I asked her if she really expected men to propose to her over the internet and she just said yes. possibly looking to get out of her country i guess. it's hard to know a person correctly online, and when they could be anyone it is slightly off putting. looks don't really matter but, they help you know a bit more about them Well, that was the thing. It was a British site and she was in Britain but basically had nothing on her profile apart from that thing about only wanting serious offers. Nothing on there to atract a guy at all apart from the claim about being a stunner and you've got to wonder about that when there's no picture. I thought that she was just a nutter and that she was just expecting guys to propose, so that she could then look at their profiles and decide if they were husband material. Imagine it. You want a stunning wife, so you propose and then when you show up with the engagement ring you find out that you've been had and she's as ugly as sin. |

That's never happened to me ever. Sounds like you leave it too long to make your move and think that you can win them over by spending money on them. |

Also, don't ask a woman if you can kiss her. They tend to find that a turn off. Just do it if you're going to.

I got one only a few days ago actually, that was clearly meant for someone else.
How nice |

She said that she likes to drink RED wine with a light fish dinner just to be a "Rebel".

When I first joined mingle I sent a woman a short email telling her I read her profile was impressed and wondered if she wanted to chat sometime. She sent me a three paragraph response detailing everything that was wrong with me including my career, and looks, its was very nasty and included a lot of swearing she really unloaded on me. I could feel her bitterness and rage thank God it was online and not in person. That was probably my ex. And the message was the wedding vow she wrote, but never got to use, on me. |

When I was forty and I was originally trying internet dating I messaged some woman in London that said that she liked Billy Connaly on her profile to tell her that I find it a bit annoying how he laughs at his own jokes. She replied asking me if I had lied about my age and said that I looked like I was at least fifty. When I told her that I was forty and that she was just trying to wind me up she asked me if I was on crack. Can't exactly remember the rest of it but when I put it to her that she might have thought that she was funny trying to take the piss out of me for being a sad loser on the internet but that she was no better I got some jazz back about how men were after her all the time.
