Do you think Non White Woman get more of a break when it comes to being overweight?
|
|

what kind of break?
if you are asking if mainstream euro culture is less embracing of curves on a woman,, it seems like it, yes it does seem the standard for beauty is slim and almost adolescent like figures,,,, I do think other cultures SEEM to celebrate things like thick thighs, and hips more often |

Some guys like "big" girls. Some guys don't. Some guys just don't care. It's as simple as that.

Yes i do think so.
I think msharmony's reply demonstrates it perfectly, you specifically said "overweight" and she equated that to "curves on a woman". To me, these are two different things. Much the same way that I don't necessarily see "slim" as being "adolescent like". Nor do I see this post fitting in with the recent rash of dating outside of race threads. |

A woman being fat was a sign of status in primitive cultures. In modern western societies it isn't and it's more likely to be asociated with morbid obesity than just not being starving. I don't think that there's a lot more to it than that.

Its true he said overweight, but for me, weight is based in so many things that I don't think the everyday person understands , so in common speech, it tends to be that when people think someone is too big, they call them 'overweight'
nice catch though,,,, I think doctors and medical professionals who truly are educated in proper weights and all the factors for an individual, probably don't give non white women any more of a break than white ones,,, |

Well sir, I believe according to medical standards most of us are overweight, but for myself there is a difference between being overweight and curvy like Msharmony described. Growing up in Detroit there where plenty of women of African decent that I could describe as curvy that where drop dead knockouts so I guess my answer to your question would be yes.

Well...as some of you are aware or might have guessed...I have very little interest in a non white, non Caucasian women. However I'm a huge fan of white women in general.
