. I had a first date once.. well actually one of the first people I met of this site as a date.. we met at a local chapters.. it's a giant. book box store.. it has a Starbucks in it . so I bought us coffee . and we walked around discussing books that we have read.. well I thought this would be a pretty safe place to have a date. but by the time we made it to the books on the topics of.. relationships sex and.. positions.. she was already sticking her tongue down my throat..
. so much for safe place for a first date.. and no we did not have a second date.. when I go on a date.. I want it to be a date. . get to know each other.. not bypass the getting to know each other .and.right to the getting busy with each other.. but apart from her. eagerness. for lack of a better word.. it was rather a nice place to be. for a first date. the other person's book selection tells you a lot about them...hmm |

Luckily, I never get into an awkward silence. I just think of more stuff to talk about, or start playfighting with my date. I'd rather be at a live gig, or sports event, during a date. I could give him a back massage, too. My family and friends seem to like my massages. I'm just a really energetic person, and it would take an earthquake to stop me :)

Never woulda guessed :)= |

I don't like coffee anyway. A person's drug of choice tells you a lot about them. My last date was with a woman that suggested that we had a chat over a glass of wine. Pretentious type. I did already kind of know that though from her profile and she said that she thought that I might be her type because one of my interests is philosophy. I told her that I would meet her at a pub that I know near the university. I'm not into wine bars and if I drank wine I would be totally hammered. Met another one there that was on the wine and she was so drunk by the end of the night that I couldn't get a word in edgeways and she was getting quite obnoxious. I do keep a jar of coffee in the house for people that use stimulants but no wine. I don't really want to be drinking my date under the table. Had that happen a few times. They get frisky enough on a couple of shandies or glasses of cider. I do like to go somewhere that we can talk though. Also somewhere where we can smoke. Didn't even plan it and going for a walk round the park is still the best first date that I've had recently. There's a burger van there if they want a coffee or something.
My sister told me about a guy that took her for a picnic in the park. He brought a bottle of wine, which she thought was nice. The guy said that he wanted to be a policeman and when a police car drove past he got all excited, shouting, "That's what I'm going to be!" and doing somersaults. |
