Oh dear, nobodies been in here for 5 days and it begins to look like Betts thread will die. A shame really, because although she hasn't returned to see what has happened, I'm sure she would be pleased as punch if she was aware her thread had reached the exalted 130 pages. At this point it looks doubtfull. Never mind, what will be, will be! Now, all that remains is for me to trust you all have a grand day, and be kind to yourselves. the post that started it all... Having read a huge amount of the threads and boards on here, I've noticed that the majority of "activity" is from folk who joined between 2 and many years ago. As a frequenter of forums of many types, I've noticed also that when this happens, it can be very hard for new folk to "break in" to the "members guild"...much like moving to a new school and coming up against all those kids who have been at the school since day dot. This is not a complaint, just an observation...as a newbie,a hermit and an Aussie.

Morning minglers... We had a couple of nice days over the weekend, in the high 50's. Otherwise it's been very, very cold. Already had my Christmas lights up and finished the rest of the decorations on Sunday, was outside without a jacket. Maybe a little snow for Thanksgiving. Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
