I watched a little baseball for the first time in my life the other day. Hard to believe really, considering how popular the sport is. But in Britain, even the sport of curling (if you can call it a sport) is more popular than baseball. Shame really because baseball looks like a good game. I don't understand it though; I thought it was three strikes and you're out. But when I watched it, it took the pitcher about half a dozen or so attempts for each batsman. I'll figure it out eventually.

Anyone else excited for the baseball season to start? Baseball is life for me,I am a huge fan. I have a satellite radio so I can listen to all Detroit Tigers games(I live out of state from my team). There is nothing better than something on the grill, a baseball game on the radio, and a cold beer, for me paradise on earth! |

I suppose NFL has caught on more in Britan than baseball. Couldn't say why though? |

However, since I'm close to my team (Nats!!), it's more fun going to the games . |

Haha! Alright Sweetestgirl. I'm understanding it better now, I noticed there's an umpire there that decides whether or not it's a strike or not.
