Most people don't realize how dogs can act when they run loose and pack up. Even friendly Fido can turn dangerous, to pets and people. I know of several cases where children have been killed by dogs, mostly in northern communities in Saskatchewan. Should never happen.

Dogs are quick to revert to pack mentality. Get more than a couple of dogs running together and they are dangerous. Regularly kill sheep here, usually lambing season.
