Why is it in todays fashion that most men shave their head? Is it Fashion or preference? Or is it just preferred by Women now for a Hairless Man, not only head but body as well? Let me know you preference or opinion please!

Most men don't do it round here mate but I guess that the ones that do figure that it looks better than having a bald spot or a comb over. If I was going bald, I think that I would probably do it but I'm not and I'm actually growing my hair long again just now and don't particularly care whether people think that it's unfashionable or makes me look like a hippy.

Let me know you preference or opinion please! Having very short or shaved head is also LOW MAINTENANCE, perfect for the "real man" I've seen too many guys use more bloody hair products on themselves than their spouses - Really? Then you get those men who are follicle y challenged and feel the need to put a 'rug' on top which ALWAYS looks ridiculous and obviously fake - NO COMMENT! |

I tried shaving my head once and when my girlfriend at the time and her daughter saw me they pissed themselves laughing and told me that I looked like I had just escaped from a mental asylum.
The point about very short hair being low maintenance is a good one and when I do get my hair cut, I tell them to shave it quite short at the back and sides. Originally decided to do that because a girl that I fancied told me to get my hair cut but I just want a change just now and growing it long again is part of my midlife crisis I suppose. |

I don't know about the low matinance or sexy deal but to each his own. Myself i'm not going bald neither and prefer "the hippy" look for myself as well as a mustache, beard combination "especially in the winter"but change up periodically with facial hair. But seeing all these advertisements on television about"men waxing" their body hair as well made me wonder what the story was for that? Guess i have to wait for a womans view when they wake up.

The body waxing thing that some guys get these days is called a "back, sack and crack". They do it because some women don't like a guy with a hairy back and arse I suppose. The only other waxing that men go in for that I've heard about is sportsmen, like cyclists that do it because of chafing or something.

I honestly don't have a preference. Each man looks differently with bald hair so its really hard to say.
If he is happy with the way he looks ,that's all that really matters to me. As for the rest of him, I like him to be natural...love a hairy chest. |

each to their own :) No ways I would have any part of my body waxed. I love body hair (except on women) The guys that tend to wax themselves are the ones that usually pump iron and want to show off their hard work (again - No comment!)
My partner is growing his hair long at the moment and has a very full beard (The hippy lumberjack look) - His long hair just doesn't do it for me though, not at age 50. Would suit younger guys better IMHO. I don't know about the low matinance or sexy deal but to each his own. I agree, with the exception on women ( although there are the one in 1,0000000000000 who can pull it off)

Let me know you preference or opinion please! I don't think most men do. I think most men that do it do it for the same reasons women alter their heads with dyes or hair cuts or wigs 1) a different look 2) a more easily maintainable style 3) more attractive option than partial balding,,, |

I like my men to be like men with all the hair possible. I'm definitely not into smooth bodies and definitely not into men who shave their pubes to look like boys.
I can see why some sportsmen would do it though. The body waxing thing that some guys get these days is called a "back, sack and crack". I'm on your side with the hairy chest preference :)
I could not go out with anyone who wears a rug on his head over over-combes. I honestly don't have a preference. Each man looks differently with bald hair so its really hard to say. Wit the guys I know its their preference... their decision to look and feel good nd comfortable at the same time. And aside from that, its low maintenance.. but to me...its good to have something you can hold on to.

Sooner or later, the Gallagher look will be in, at which point, I'll be ready.

I love hair. There is something about running my hands through hair. That is just me and what I like, but each to their own opinions and preferences.
