You know Candiapples, I was looking for a small truck when I bought the Mazda. Problem was no one was letting them go. There is just something about a truck. Not sure what it is. biggrin

Well I have to say I have always prefered cars..but after this winter..I dunno now tears

OH winter! We were doing so good until you brought that up! tears Is it ever going to end?

My little car does pretty good in the snow though, so I cannot complain about it.

I've got a BMW 528i, 2 Ford Transit work vans, a Citroen work van and a Vauxhall Astra 2.0 SRI. I also, bought my son a VW Golf. So what does that say about me?

. I love my Ford F 150... it's beautiful. inside and out. it's. my second office.. comfortable. sleek stylish.. and yes sexy... I did it up right.. fire engine red outside black inside.. big comfy bucket seats.. way cool sound system... and the backseat.hmmm.ohhhh.mmm..yes......yesohyesohyessss.. need i say more..

Fix Or Repair Daily ? Got to say Red truck does sound like ya.
Thought all you got was engine trouble with those F150s? Especially the 5.4 litre model. Low mpg and also they're too plasticky for me and it's a cheap, tacky plastic that they use? I'll stick to my BMW. At least I know what i'm getting when I buy European!

I had a volvo wagon. Loved it. Other wagon owners bond and chat about how they passed 250,000. Great roomy boxy car. I miss it.

Now I have a Prius. Bought it on ebay. Its fabimous.
I've never saw the point in a Prius? It touts itself as a hybrid, but lets itself down when Toyota boast it averages 72 mpg, but struggles to get over 58 mpg usually. My mate has one, but I know he's thinking of selling it, as it's not what he expected!

most of the hybrids are new and there are still kinks to work out. I like the Fusion, but I think you can get almost as good mileage with a gasoline engine. Mileage in a Prius is going to depend on a driver's habits as far as gasoline mileage. If KLC keeps on electric at low speeds around town she will likely get better mileage than your friend. Men tend to accelerate hard and drive fast...meaning he'll be on the gasoline more than the electric. If so he's doing great at 58mpg. I usually get close to 40 in my gasoline Honda. This winter extreme cold we are having has tanked it down to 35. Never seen it drop that low. So I am waiting for spring :)

I don't have wheels atm. Ive owned plenty of cars but my work is walking distance from home so I kinda don't need one at the moment.laugh

I've owned a few cars in my life time. Most were beaters. I'd have to say my favorite where the two sedans I ran in demolition derbies after they had outlived their road worthiness. 87 Cutlass Calias and an 89 Beretta Gt. I painted animal on the hood of the 87' and the Punisher skull on the 89'. That was a lot of fun not for those who don't have their wits about them though. I had a 78 ford ltdII that was pretty fun to drive. Damn thing was a boat and a half and rode like one too. However I did like the v8 and real wheel drive.....Okay and now I'm rambling. I could talk cars for days.....laugh

I think I'll pass on that! I think it's more of the TRY and not actually driving that would do it. surprised

I think it is *Fast On Race Day* if I am not mistaken.

My F150 has the 351 Windsor in it with 210,000 miles on it and runs as good as she did with the 100,000 that was on it when I bought her smile2 Fords are awesome!

I've had Fords in the past, but then I got an Audi, then a BMW and it's quality motoring, in a nutshell. German, engineering is 2nd to none!
