I prefer movies that have meaning (true life and historical) but as far as what gere it doesn't matter as far as my fav actress and actor that would have to be Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks

Horror. :)

Edit:

And Fantasy.

I also like watching documentaries.

Also, films that were based on true events intrigue me the most, regardless of the genre.

Actors I like to watch most:

Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, Peter Dinklage, Robert Englund, Jessica Lange, Jack Nicholson and Anthony Hopkins.

Favorite Genre: Horror. Next would be scifi.

But I enjoy films from all genres.

I love quirky offbeat comedies like Tapeheades, and Ruben and Ed. I also love comedies from the 30's through 60's. Abbott & Costello, Jerry Lewis, Mel Brooks. John Hughes teen comedies from the 80's, teen sex comedies from the 70's through 80's.

I love European crime thrillers from the 70's, spaghetti westerns, post apocalyptic flicks, sword and sorcery, mockumentaries like Spinal Tap, and Albert Brooks' Real Life. I love big budget Hollywood superhero flicks, and super low budget shot in our backyard schlockfests. Exploitation, blaxploitation, nunsploitation, nazisploitation, martial arts flicks...

Movie: My all time favorite film is Harold And Maude.

Next would be Planet Of The Apes (1968), original Star Wars trilogy, Brazil, Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit. Ed Wood, Bullitt, A Hard Day's Night, Dawn Of The Dead (1978), It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Arsenic And Old Lace, Spirit Of The Beehive, Weekend (1967), Rollerball (1975), Little Fugitive, Mr Blanding Builds His Dream House, Bladerunner, original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Bubba Ho Tep, An American Werewolf In London.

Decade: My favorite would be the 1970's for all genres. But I enjoy movies from now all the way back to the silent era.

Actors/actresses: Cary Grant, Peter Sellers, James Caan, Steve McQueen, Sam Rockwell, Ed Harris, Gene Hackman, Jodie Foster, Christina Ricci, Simone Simon, Parker Posey.

You MUST see 28 Weeks Later (sequel)! leaps and bounds better. Although I really like Cillian Murphy.

Anyhoo, Im just watchin Cowboys and Aliens which looked ridiculous in the trailer, so Im accidentally watching it. I had no idea so many great actors were in it tho.

Paul Dano is a favorite of mine, but lots of others in there. I love westerns.

i liked cowboys and aliens, it was actually pretty good

I tend to like horror, action, or comedy movies the most. It really depends on my mood. Last night I went for an eighties fix and watched The Terminator followed by Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I will always watch something that's based off of a true story.

I like checking out movies that are based on books too. I've found a lot of great new authors that way.
