As the article states from rolling stone Michale Keaton has been in long talks with Tim Burton about a sequel to the original movie that would take place 27 years later. Michael hopes to get Winona Ryder to play her roll again as Lydia Deetz. Michael says that he was a huge part of him and wounder what Lydia would be up to 27 years later. It could be either really really good, or really crappy. When there's that long of time between sequels, they don't always turn out so well. But it's good to see Burton is capable of making a movie without Depp.

Okay I'm calming myself down and hiding my excitement...I'm just a huge Michael Keaton fan. Lol my oldest son...I named him Keaton. :wink:

There was a sequel planned right after the original came out, it was going to be titled Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian.
