once i wore a shimmering cloak
now all is hid by shimmering smoke
my winds they cough,my seas they boke
and all my living creatures choke

once i had a gleaming eye
now all is hid by a poisonous sky
my earth is bleached,my plants they die
and all my living creatures cry

once i the clearest tears did cry
now all is hid by a sulphurous dye
my rivers reek,my forest fry
and all my living creatures die

once i had the purest soil
now all is hid by leaking oil
my mountains crumble,my lakes they boil
and all my living creatures toil

once i had the richest crust
now all is hid by refuge rust
my valleys are full,my lands are dust
and all my living creatures lost
