I took this picture of a stump while I was walking my dog because I thought that it had a kind of interesting design to that mark. I have my own opinion as to what it looks like. But I want to see what other people think before I say what I think.

I really like the color of the stain, I guess I could call it, on this stump.

it reminds me of a butterfly taking flight over a field of wildflowers blowing gently in the summer evening breeze

So here is what I thought it look like. When you start at where the hole in the stained area is. That looks like an eye. A little down from there you have what looks like a mouth, kind of beak shaped. Go up and on the back of the head it kind of looks like a crest kind of like that on a triceratops. The you keep following the stain and that makes up the neck and finally down to the body. So to me it basically looks like some sort of bird or maybe a dragon.

While I didn't notice it before. In the area of where the head would be there is a lighter colored stain that goes off to the left. that actually looks kind of like a wing. So it could be something like a dragon or a bird sitting on a nest and cleaning it's self.

Thank you guys for your ideas on what you thought this looked like. Any one else want to give their ideas then feel free. Later I might post a picture of this with an outline to better show what I am talking about. But now I want to take a nap. hahaha
