Topic: Call of the Wild man exposed | |
---|---|
My fellow americans I urge you for your own good to stop watching "reality" TV.
Here is an interesting expose on the Call of the Wild man. Pretty much sums up what most thinking humans already know that these programs like Duck Dynasty, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars are all faked and scripted. http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/01/animal-abuse-drugs-call-of-the-wildman-animal-planet This article details how fake the program is how the producers are in hot water for capturing and drugging animals placing them in entertaining places and calling in the "wildman" Not much hope for the collective mind of America when people watch this type of trash TV. |

I turned it off..... made my TV a nice big monitor.... problem solved. When I am at a friends or the hospital however, where a TV is on, it never ceases to amaze me how anyone knows what a program is even about today. By the time the commercials end preaching the beauty and ease of accruing debt, debt and more debt, or big pharma pushing drugs with side effects worse than the ailment, or more shows with more commercials about incurring more debt, how do you remember what you were watching in the first place? And people actually pay for this "entertainment"? AMAZING! |

You must be a very bored individual. Kinda sad really that you worry so much over tv shows. And even more so that you think you was dropping a bomb on DD fans by making a stink over those photos from 8-10 years ago. |

The solution of changing the channel may be a passive one. But it is effective. If the show isn't very popular then it gets taken off the air.
I personally find most of these reality shows annoying and don't watch them anyway because it's obvious they are fake reality based on scripts or staging. Like I watched one episode of Dog and I think it was one of the first episodes. It was so stupid. He was acting like he was sneaking up on some guy on a beach. No trees and no bushes to hide behind. But somehow it made sense for him to creep along with a camera crew to catch the criminal. I don't know how anyone thought that made sense and I haven't watched another episode since. |

I would think there are worse things in the world then this or most other TV shows. Why stress yourself out caring what everyone else is doing? You'll put yourself in an early grave with that kind of stuff. I get you hate that they drugged animals to pose then in stupid ways for the show. But they got caught and they will answer for what they did. Relax and enjoy yourself. You'll live longer and die happier. |

From my intellectual point of view I am distressed at the state of television. We used to have programs on the History channel that were about history, On the animal planet we had documentaries on nature and all its wonders. What we have now are pure capitalist propaganda. It seems that with programs like Ax men and pawn stars what we get are programs about how these things can be exploited to turn a buck. If we want reality lets show these swamp people with no insurance when they fall ill or have a hand chomped off by a gator and the reality of trying to get a medical bill paid. Perhaps a program about how the Wild man lost all his teeth due to lack of dental care. It distresses me to think so many of my fellow americans have no critical thinking skills. I have a girl that likes to watch the Long Island medium and to keep the peace I sometimes watch it with her and avoid commenting. "Ok lady if your talking to the dead ask the hard questions, Is it Jesus or Budah or Alla am I going to the right church and should I even bother going to church?" Nope in Uber Amerika the sheep sit transfixed and suck on the glass teat of TV and drink up all the mind numbing propaganda. |

It's not effective if your batteries are dead and you don't have a spare set and there's no channel buttons on the cable box. I don't watch "reality tv" anyways. I watch Pawn Stars just to learn some history but I don't consider it to be reality tv. I watch anime. Looney Tunes. WWE Raw and Smackdown. Mythbusters. etc. |
