that dumbfounding moment when your
mum told you that your twin sister died seven days after childbirth . . . -Olisaeloka Onyekaonwu Here is my heart: I heard this news while the sun had gone, when the moon is smiling at the naked heart! what earth is ours? a pieces of space, a junk with worth/full/less minds.. while you peeped and smelt evil, you ran, or were you sent parking? I walked alone in the nightland. sang sad songs on nothingville street... I felt an absence I ain't aware of.. Nwaoboli, Life is a thorny forest! whoever shall trek this street shall learn to smuggle smiles in his bag-pack! Life is a wall without holes, a sea of many debris.. so when we die, we live on in the valleys of hopefulness!! Nwaoboli, here is a piece of my heart lettered with the blood shed on the umblicating night!!! take, read and smile! |

For Adaku:
and when the night is shadowless, we shall remember the birth of a sage, like tonight! when the moon is blooded and the sun is communing with dusk, our pen shall dance rhythmically with our wrist at the carnival of birth. I remembered the night of blood- where crying is an accepted melody, where the stars dances when 'moew moew' is sang. we shall write your name on the rocky sang where the beaches won't wash it for this kid yesterly born had graved in our hearts, grace. Uhm, I have nothing to write just wishing you a sweet memorial of your birth.. tohquality |
