Topic: the true kind of love | |
---|---|
The true kind of love involves attention, awareness, discipline, effort, and being able to truly care about someone and sacrifice for them, continuously, in countless petty little unsexy ways, every day. You put your arms around them and love them regardless, even when they're not so lovable. And of course, they do the same for you.
A truly healthy relationship - it's one where both people wake up every morning and say, "This is worth it. You worth it. I choose to be with you." |

geez what fairytale land do you live in? marchrisaint's first post in this thread describes the kind of love that my late wife and I had for each other. So, it isn't a fairy tale. Only foxes claim that the grapes are sour. |

This is very sweet and I agree with you Marchristsaint. That makes four of us! This is the kind of love that truly lasts. It's not just about the good times, it's whether you have the fortitude to stick it out when times are hard and challenging. This type of love is the one to be most desired, if people had the insight to realize it. |
