Has anyone ever had a spinal tap done? I have to have one and they don't put you under heard it's very painful. Then I googled it and read peoples stories same thing I had to stop reading them. Plus they said bad spinal headache lasting up to 5 days. Just curious.

Depends on the doctor doing it as well...I've had 2 epidurals (very similar to spinal) the first time wasn't too bad, slight pain and pressure but the second was more painful....don't let yourself worry about the pain tho you will just get yourself worked up. No tears were shed and I was having huge contractions while he was trying to do the epidural.

I've had it all epiduralls surgery,and a tap don't worry to much about it but yes there can be a headache and it's not much fun.
