No I think the best you can hope for Fanta is 50:50

Hillary is considered to be a dictator by a lot of people, and Obama lacks experience. If our only choices are those two on the Dem ticket, things could go bad for the Dems in the election.

Maybe if Bush attacks Iran they might have a better chance. But if He attacks Iran and the Dems line up to fall on their swords with apology, they could lose that way too.

But you're overlooking the economy too. The Republicans are not perfect on the economy, but it is likely the Dems will crush it entirely with their twelfth century economic models. That's just my opinion and I don't want to argue it.

Last night Hannity had a small poll of New Hampshire voters who showed that McCain was the winner of the debate. I have previously voiced my opinion of polls so I won't go into that. They had a small video clip of McCain and for once he actually sounded intelligent but there is still no one who I feel warm and fuzzy with. It's a sad choice indeed when we have to select a leader not on the premis of who will do the most good, but who will do the least harm.

You know,I don't know if Ron Paul will get in, but anyone that has any sense would vote for him. If he does everything he says he will he could actually turn America around and make it a free country again. But there are too many people hiding their head in the sand, and probably won't wake up until they have lost their freedom completely.

So Kentucky girl,
You are suggesting that getting rid of the CIA, the NSA and the FBI would be a step in the right direction? I think his present position on that is that it would be the best thing, but it is impossible at this point to do it,because of the history of the organizations etc.

I think the less the government is involved in each individuals life the better the country will be. But you are probably right, it is too late to correct the damage that is already done. However, just because a person is almost dead you don't just kill him, you try to revive him; even if he will not have the quality of life that he had before.

The same with America; it will probably never have the quality of life that here that once was, but that doesn't mean we just stand back and vote in some one that finish killing her. Instead we try to put her on life support until she can at least breath on her again.

The libertarian approach to government sounds good, but what would you do with the trillion or so dollars the government spends every year if you got rid of all the governmental agencies? How would you keep the people who are presently employed by the government from starving when you laid them off? I think the libertarian view is sort of a peace-love-dope throwback to the 70's hippie culture. It sounds good, but you can't support your country on it. Neither can you protect your country on it.

Getting rid of our intelligence community to save money is like cutting off your head so you don't have to buy glasses.

I'm a little confused here, the CIA, NSA, FBI all had massive screw-ups on 9/11 and have also been involved in a lot of regime toppling and interference that has caused Middle Eastern countries to be angry with the USA, and instead of firing people after 9/11 and getting rid of ineffective intelligence agency bureaucracy, we decided to triple their funding, keep the old guys there, and to make things worse put them under the umbrella of an even worse big government bureaucracy "Homeland Security". Come on people this is madness! How do you think we lasted as a nation for some many years without all the extraneous agencies in the first place? Army Intelligence and the Office of Naval Intelligence could handle all this and did handle this in the past. For the record, Ron Paul is not against intelligence gathering, he just doesn't see the need for all these alphabet agencies.
