Any experience or work
you can get while you're in school will help you when you're done. Job experience helps when you graduate. |

Have fun, but don't have tooooooooooo much fun!
College is not like high school. If you had it "easy" in college, you're going to be surprised to see that college is WORK. And good luck! How exciting! |

Not sure if there is a future or not.
I want in and out of school as fast as I walked in. Sounds like a bad relationship gone wrong . Also sounds like jaill too and or high school. |

The bad thing is college isn't exciting, unless you've been smoking big time some drug and your really not sure what the hell is going on all you know is your having more fun then everybody else who is pass ready to leave before they even walked into the doors, it's like well work or a job lol.

DAMN that's a lot.
I'm only going for one year but it some reason is going for two years cause I'm going part time while working as well. Just hope I can do both. Never did college englist or math and reading before, so every thing new there and different as they told me, just not sure how much. I thought once you'd you learn that stuff in high school it wasn't anything different etc. Now they want you to wast more money and relearn stuff you already know and be done all over again. Crazy. |

Well have fun!
When I went to school for art, my (one) semester's supplies cost anywhere from $600-$800. My portfolio review & gallery (art finals -one week) cost $500!!! No wonder most artist are coined "starving"! Geesh! |

Holy damn Im here.
I was off watching Bridget Jones's Diary. Anyways, my area of study is psychology. Hopefully a child psychologist. Im lucky to have gotten into a school that only costs about $8,000 a year, but scholarships and loans were a must. |

here is my advice.
select a class for the professor. if there are multiple sections ask around or go to a few and pick whomever teaches best. talk to lots of other students and work together on homework. you will find that you learn more from your friends than from the textbook or the teacher. prepare for your lectures. read ahead in the textbook and try some problems to find out what challenges you. for writing courses - re-write, refine, distill obtain old tests if it is not disallowed and practice the problems - this will help you understand what you are expected to learn and be able to perform on your tests too. schedule time to have fun also. you can't and shouldn't study all the time. finally - once you find something that interests you - get a job as an assistant in that general area. make a few extra bucks at it and see what it's like. if you are doing well in school tutor others a year or two behind you and you will really know what you're doing by the time you graduate. |
