.... should you give someone your personal info?
ex: cell or home phone, personal email address, etc. I feel you should get to know them online before moving to the next step.... Am I wrong to wait longer than 1 email?!? What happened to getting to know someone before telling all your personal business??? I am curious as to how everyone deals with this issue... |

i dont have a set time, but always has been after several emails, and i feel perfectly confortable with them, but im a guy and if you make me mad, i would be very mean to you. i think women should maybe go slower

i don't think there should be a time limit, when u fee comfortable with them, and u feel like u can trust them, then maybe u are ready for the next step

I just don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I have to get to know something about them before giving out that kind of info |

It is a good idea to know someone much better- before giving them any personal info...
Alot of people on here know me as teddy rather than my name. Only people I have known awhile have my e-mail. You can never be too careful on the net!!! |

never give personal info unless you know someone, for me that takes a while. if you ever regretted giving you number to someone in the street then the internet should be no diffrence. create a a public meeting place instead

like i waited a month before giving out my info to the guy, but we talked like every night for like 4 hours and all that so i know we are comfortable together.

ok , I just don't see why anyone really needs our personal e-mail address?? we have e-mail here, and IM here, what does our personal e-mail have that this site doesn't?

You know what you feel comfortable with. Don't let anyone push your personal limits. Stay on site for a while if you wish. Get as much of THEIR personal info as you want if you do decide to meet.
