What type of Yoga are you interested in? Do you want a physical workout or do you like the full package with meditation and relaxation techniques a well as a physical workout. When you know that find a class and a teacher you like and join in .Its amazing I love my practice,I hope this has helped

I would like to fully get into yoga! Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to get me started? go to a few studios in your area and observe the yogis and students and their interactions. then choose one class to go to that is at a time that is convenient, a reasonable price, and an instructor you like (the priorities of the criteria up to you of course :) then after working with a yogi, I do recomended practicing at home also |

Don't let just any self-proclaimed yogi teach you. Bad yoga is like taking the wrong prescription. Look into the ISHA Foundation. They have a youtube channel about the non profit organization, and I think some centers in the U.S. If you're really into it, you could travel. The guy is called Sadhguru Yaggi, and he is legit, meditated without food or water for 13 days straight and all the nine yards. So look into him. I've watched many of his conversations about business and India and problems today and even a science debate. So he is well rounded. He also has tons of experience on the business side of matters, so I'm sure anyone in his organization is also of very high quality. Hands down, I recommend that yoga.
In the mean time, try to eat a nutritios diet. That helps... So After typing this i went and found the link: http://www.ishafoundation.org/Isha-Institute-of-Inner-Sciences-USA/isha-institute-of-inner-sciences-usa.isa |

I'd probably start by finding some professionals who know what there talking about
Second best option One of the reasons for yoga is to be limber and flexible one way to do that is to get all the basic stretches You can do them at work at home or whenever also jogging is good too to help maintain your muscles to keep active and don't slow down One thing to remember on that know your limit don't strain your self you can get hurt I've seen this happen before in my karate class. Like anoscarine said about eating healthy. Foods that are healthy will give energy and help you throughout your workout and like that unhealthy foods make it worse I'd recommend going to a gym if possible but this can be done at home if there's no other choice |
