I'm out with my kids to see Santa and im looking around and all the other parents are sitting quietly while their children are playing on some sort of electronic device... Nintendo's, iPad, phones, etc. My kids are playing with toy trucks and batman figurines. Running away from me and sticking candy canes in Santas beard! What's wrong with this pic?

Hey it would not be the Holidays without that type of chaos . Your kids are normal, it is the other kids who are strange!

Hey it would not be the Holidays without that type of chaos . Your kids are normal, it is the other kids who are strange! Depending how far you allow the kids to run rough shod over the crowd I tend to agree. I find it disturbing that too many kids are little electronics induced zombies that can't just play. If they are really driving you crazy you might want to lay off the color in some of the candy; My kids could tolerate small doses of sugar but OMG the color and I was ready to tear my hair out. Sadly not all kids are into Santa and taking them and standing in the insufferably long lines is really not worth it. |
