You know, I looked around the apartment for anything made in America. 99% of things were made elsewhere, except one...a bottle of KY-Jelly was made in USA...

i understand your reasoning garden but those companies went overseas for their own profit not for the consumers desire for a cheaper product. if they never went in the first place there would be no need for a cheap product in the first place. if they would have remained in the U.S. not only would americans have more money to purchase their products but the quality guidlines that they would have had to make in producing this stuff wouldn't have resulted in recalls of millions of products and countless people getting sick from those products.

"so garden are you saying rather than
protect and serve the "people" by requiring companies that want to send to the u s abide by u s standards that th u s should abolish these standards in side the borders of u s " adj4u I don't know what the hell you are smoking but I said nothing of the kind. Read my post when your brain clears and perhaps you will understand it then. I said business supplies what the consummers demand! The consummers demand cheap goods and that's just what they are getting. It don't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. If the consummers quit buying the product and demand a better product in it's place they will get what they demand but at a higher price. |
