Hi I'm Melony from Cape Town and I am basically on here to find a guy who can prove me wrong. Right now I believe all guys are jerks and that singlehood is probably my future even though it's not what I wanted. I also believe I'm foolish to always trust guys and maybe it's time I start saying goodbye to talking to them in general. You're right to be careful about who you trust. Open trust is useful in that others tend to be trusting of YOU but that's no guarantee that the their trustworthiness will be reciprocal.

Everyone has issues of some sort, no one's perfect. But if you're asking strictly for men who have good hearts and aren't total *****, why yes. They do exist. I've found the same thing to be true in female circles.

As for 'proving' that, well, I'm not sure it's possible on a website. Knowing the goodness in another person is something that requires experience not reading or analyzing writing patterns.

That said, if you are less immediately trusting, I think you'll find it less emotionally tiresome finding roses among the rocks and thorns.

Sounds like the old "bait and switch" trick to me Mel ...If you believe that all guys are jerks, learn how to make better choices....Why should a nice guy have to prove himself to you?...What are you going to bring to the table?....You've already admitted you only date jerks.....Maybe take a little time to self reflect before you condemn "all" men based on the actions of your ex's....

I understand ur feelings. Pls don't use others to judge others, we are nt the same & we can never be the same. We all have past but that doesn't mean you will not go on with our live. Pls we have good out there looking for good women & we also have bad men out there looking for good women ok?
