It is an interusting topic, isn't it? Not particularly. I think that it's been done to death here anyway. Some people are going to say that a lover is someone that you have sex with and others are going to say that it isn't. Personally though, I've got ex lovers that I have stayed in touch with as friends and the difference seems pretty simple to me. It's just friendship and I'm not having sex with them. |

It is an interusting topic, isn't it? not a whole lot. just thst a lover you are in an intimate relationship with whereas not so with the others :) |

If a person does not know the difference then they dont have any experience with either and that is indeed a predicament.. Similary, the only way to know evil is to live evil...

Some one who doesn't know the difference would be neither in my book.

Again.....confusion, confusion, confusion over a simple thing: For a man the difference is very simple and very clear: A lover soils your pants, whilst a friend irons them. Those that are both are called a 'wife.' M.C.P.

Sex. ![]() Cute answer but might be a tad more to it than sex. What's cute about it? I have friends that I don't have sex with and I have "lovers" that I do? Not very complex. Also I was giving MY opinion to the OP's question; in MY opinion, that's what separates MY friends from MY lovers, the question wasn't about what you thought someone else thought about the topic. I've seen quite a few comments you've made on this site, that I didn't agree with at all, and I didn't criticize or belittle you for making them, I'd appreciate the same courtesy. Thanks. |

Well hopefully they are both my friend and lover, I don't want a lover who is not my friend....then again some friends need to stay in that zone,

Friends never break up with you...lovers always do.
Tip #1: never believe a lover who wants to be "just friends"...You know damn well that's the last time you'll ever see them. Tip #2: Never trust a friend who wants to be your lover...You know damn well that s/he isn't really your friend and will end up being "just a friend" you'll never see again. Tip#3: stay close with the one you liked to play "house" with as kids before you even knew what sex was. Chances are especially good that if you potty-trained together, you stand a chance of marrying and staying with your best friend AND lover for the rest of your lives. |

My remark was not a critique but actually a compliment. And my own comment which was on topic not your remark. You are totally free to your opinions. As I was under the impression by site rules so am I. I will keep in mind you want no exchange about your opinions. Have a blessed life. |
