Topic: Supporting Friends during the Holidays | |

Tonight I had a tough conversation with a long time
Mingle'er and it makes me want to encourage all of our community to make a special effort to support friends. Especially the ones that have been kicked around by the economy, family issues, health, what Mother nature has dished out; whatever through no fault of their own. Sometimes life does gang up on people and the friendly connection from friends, even if you are not the one who can fix their problems, you can restore their quality of life and give them hope with a moment of normalcy and friendship. It only takes a few minutes and such a minimal effort. |

You are very right Pacific, some times people just need to talk to friends and it makes a world of difference. Some times it is good just to have a friend listen to you vent. It is a blessing to have friends that you can count on to cheer you up...kudo's to you!!

Yea moving can really make it tough to stay connected but it is a smaller world with all the forms of communication sometimes you can let people know where you are. Always make new friends. If there is someone you have to stay safe from, or is gone, you can always befriend someone new in honor of an old relationship. I am a big believer no kindness falls on stone alone.
