Try self-confidence and not falling for every line you hear, and yes the spammers are drawn like a moth to a flame, just be you and use careful caution when you intend to reply. Don't let anything come out of your wallet either!

I get the same thing from men from other countries.
You just have to sort through the spam. Also had the same on another site I joined. Seemed to get a lot at first then it stopped. I think they target any new users. |

You can edit who is allowed to message you. I have mine set so only those who live within 100 miles of me can send messages...

I don't know one person who it HASN'T happened to, on here. In fact, two or three everyday is just pathetic. I'm starting to get so fed up of it, that I'm thinking of leaving the site. Obviously SOMEONE is making good money out of letting these scammers eun riot. You'd think they would be on top of this problem by now, but no. I think a lot are sick of it. A sure way to drive people away from a dating site. Get it sorted, whoever is responsible.
