happy for a long time, fall in love; happy for ever, take up gardening." British playwright and comedian Arthur Smith |

Well, THIS is a problem -- I don't drink, and I'm no good at the other two....

Have you tried putting food coloring on your thumb???

Yes, but the girls never pay any attention....
Or a cow tries to eat my thumb....and given the preponderance of cows around here, that's pretty dangerous.... |

Hmmmmm...a drunken gardeners life for me! WOO HOO!!

Gotta agree with Lex on this one. I don't drink, well will have a yearly strawberry daquiri or so. I do think I planted a seed tonight at the restaurant where I buy dad's Friday night fish and chips. They make all kinds of milk shakes and she was talking about making lots of strawberry shakes and the cook commented on something about one with rum flavoring in it. I said heck throw some rum flavoring in it and you would have a strawberry daquiri milkshake, they said really??? I said, that is basically all it is made of, strawberries and rum, I left them thinking.
They make german chocolate, gingerbread, pumpkin pie, oreo and other flavors of milk shakes already. I wonder is strawberry daquiri will be up on the list next week. |

Awwww Lex if I saw a real green thumb I would pay attention!!
Marie, I think that sounds like a great shake...maybe you should get a patent! |

Cows are not too dangerous, unless you have a herd of them spooked and stampeding. They usually don't bite, at least not too hard, and if they do, I guess I would ask "why did you have your thumb in the cow's mouth, hmmmmmm????" Actually they do have big teeth
Just don't use green food coloring and don't put your thumb in their mouth and you will be okay. Cows are like big puppy dogs if you raise them from babies. Just don't let them step on your foot - now THAT is a whole different story!!!!!! |

Yeah, I thought the strawberry daquiri shake idea had promise too.
Could do the same with pina coladas, use pineapple sundae topping, vanilla ice cream and rum flavoring, sounds good to me. |

I know, and I have a milk allergy so can't get eat dairy, actually sneak some once in awhile but live to regret it. But dang they do sound good. My favorite lifesavers are the rum flavored ones, that is why I don't drink, think I could develop an issue if I weren't careful. So I stay away from it. My drink of choice is Diet Pepsi or I drink iced tea too. But the milk shakes sure do sound good.

oh man thats the pits. the rum lifesavers are rather good, come to think of it their probably my choice also.my friends dad ate them when he quit smokin so i'd get one here & there whenever i was around him. that was a long time ago tho but the tatse is still there. cherry is a very close second.

Pineapple lifesavers were good too, and cherry too. Yeah, think rum was my favorite, then pineapple and cherry.

But eating lifesavers tastes good, is easier, and doesn't leave a painful after taste when there isn't any left.
