so how many of you black guys that want to date only white girls.feel about a white boy like me showing up at the door to take your sister or your mom out on a date? I have a few friends that are black weman and i no for a fact that most of there familys would freak out if there sisters or there moms dated a white man.just saying its a two way street here,I bet most will not tell the truth.

You know, I have seen this same thing in some of the black families that I grew up with. Not sure what it was, maybe over protecting of the females. That was many years ago though. It makes me wonder if their opinions about this are different today. I personally don't see a problem with it. If that is what you want or the person that you desire has a different color of skin what does it matter? Is it not the inside of the person we should be considering in the first place?

Everyone has their own preferences and are entitled to it. I try not to set boundaries or limitations on whom I will like based just on race or ethnicity. I dealt with some reverse judgements when I went with my ex down to south Tennessee where it was predominantly black people. I wasn't treated nice at all even by my own in-laws so I can see why some are deterred, however a relationship is between two people not all their families. ^^^^^^^this^^^^^^^

Probably has more to do with education and intelligence than "color". I "know" for a fact I wouldn't let you date my sister, if you didn't or couldn't tell the difference between "family's" and "families". And ethnicity would have nothing to do with it. And while I have one unmarried daughter left, she wouldn't see anyone that's not college educated. She writes code for Oracle.

The Color of the skin should not be a belt rock for true love. nobody has control over how they were made. I don't look at the color but the characters.
