After some couple of jokes by comedians in a church. And a pastor was about to preach, the first comment he made was "jesters will not make heaven." Is it in the Bible?

Pastor should quote chapter & verse.

He quoted no chapter or verse to support what he said but he said that it is in the bible.

After some couple of jokes by comedians in a church. And a pastor was about to preach, the first comment he made was "jesters will not make heaven." Is it in the Bible? "They said to you that "In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts." These are they who cause divisions, and are sensual, not having the Spirit." – Jude 1:18-19 The pastor is right in the light of the above passage and others in the old testament. This shows that Christianity is a serious matter and that Jesters should abstain from trivialising Christianity.
