WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO BE FWB INSTEAD OF GIVING IT A GO AT THE WHOLE RELATIONSHIP? Some people can't handle relationships well at all and they know it, or they are totally self-centered. Just my humble opinion.

Some people are afraid of rejection and fwb gives them the attention without any expectations to be let down.

Some people are happy to do that. It depends on the two involved. I'd have an fwb if I was asked. But we'd both have to agree to it, first. It's a personal thing.

I had a fwb a few years ago, used to see her a couple of times a month, usually when it suited her. She cracked up though when I started seeing a lassie on a regular basis. No matter if its just a fwb, a lot of the times you or her will develop feelings for that other person. Its only human nature!
