Little jestures

Laughter when my hormones run insane

It's your tender touch

When you're not around
It's those little things you do
I treasure.

We won't take money
With us when we die
We won't appreciate
that house when life passes by
It's the time
We take and that we give
Those little things
we've needed since we were kids.

With red lipstick

Its these little things
that I sure love to do
Candy in your lunch bag
Rose petals on the floor
A trail of chocolate kisses
I couldn't ask for more
Candlelight dinners
with menus that I made

We need to save.

How easily we forget
The time we invested
Since the day we met

Life happens
How we fail
To remember
It's those special moments
That time we spent
Which made our hearts sail.

Turning, churning our hearts
Easily we get lost
The original vision tossed
We said we'd make it
Smart enough to see

Basking in the love
Enjoying eternal bliss
Getting lost in each other
Breath taking as a kiss
Holding hands hiking
Happy as a lark
