This is a story of my daddy Sam
He passed away four years ago
but he was a hard worker and a
farmer and a family man,

Daddy loved his kids the 5 of us
Sue, Harvey, Brenda, and Charlotte, and Larry
two boys and two girls
But it was his wife Macel he loved her the best
daddy Sam married mama 67 years ago
so they say the story goes

My daddy Sam was so smart and
could build or fix up most anything
Daddy taught us how to plant a corn crop
or grow from a seed most anything
daddy kept a few big fat pigs
he had a wife and 5 kids to feed,

Daddy show us how to work on our own cars
plus always go to church and stay out of the bars
But most of all daddy showed us love
and we still feel it even though he not here with us
his love shine up on us from high above

Later in daddy life to his surprise
after his children went off and got married
daddy name changed to Paw Paw
April, then Joey, and Mendysue
was the first to come along
soon Paw Paw and maw maw was rocking
them Grandchildren to sleep
and before daddy knew it
Great grandchild was playing at his feet

This is the story of my daddy Sam
his life ended way to early
I guess that was all in God plan
Daddy never got to know the new great grand babys
that came along,
But I am sure daddy up in heaven still singing
Noah and Isaac and baby drew and luke
a sweet lulaby song,

And i know he is honored to be remembered
