Melancholy called on the phone today. He said he'd just had lunch with Love, who had been driving by my house daily for a long time. For all those years Love never so much as tooted his horn. Just as I was about to hang up, Melancholy said Love told him he was thinking about paying me a visit the day after tomorrow. I think I'll unlock my door.
