Poem Untitled

I'm feeling such a high right now
I can't explain just why,
All I know just for today
My heart refused to cry.

I'm feeling a new emotion,
That makes me want to smile,
I am so amused by it
Let's hope it stays awhile.

I caught myself waking
from this daydream in my head,
Thought of happy blessings
Not any sadness and not of
any dread.

I hope that if this dream I had
becomes a real life thing,
Think of all the happy poems
That my dreams would surely bring.

So while I'm still feeling this
the emotion making me high,
I will end this poem and consider
the reasons why
