just give it time, if its meant to be it will be. dont try to force it, cause when someone does that they make the other back off. so just let things take its course. it will happen if its meant to be.

Just let it go, move one....there is someone out there for you.
I basically said the same thing about the guy I was seeing there for awhile....in reality he had nothing to offer me, he might have been there physically but there was no other sense of attachment....he drank alot, borrowed money from me (the real clincher came when his ex-wife called an wanted to borrow money from me so she and her boyfriend could go out drinking). I said enough of this crap. |

That is the line a guy uses when several things are going on...Mainly he wants his cake and eat it too, he is committment freaked, he has underlying issues you wont ever be told, he is juggling more than you...Cut your losses now! hurt little now and save the devastation later. I grew up with 3 brothers and 21 male cousins...I know this stuff! I wish you the best, Smiles, Terri

Hey Betsy,
First of all I'm sorry you're hurting. My sister and I say, listen and accept what a man tells you when he's in confession mode which is not that often, because they keep alot more inside than we do. If a man tells you for example, "I'm really a jerk at times", don't say to him, Oh, no you're not, I don't think you're a jerk at all. This is of course before you really get to know him and realize, yep, he said he was a jerk and he is. We as women seem to want to heal and fix things. It's just the nurturing side of us that we just can not help. Do yourself a favor and listen to him. He knows himself much better than you do and if he thinks you're too good for him, then you probably are. Take his advise and find someone who truly deserves your goodness, and be greatfull he told you the truth. |
